The Otters Den awaits you! New private deck construction is complete. Completely renovated in 2021 with brand new kitchen, appliances, floors, paint, bath, luxury linens and bedding. The Otters Den is located on the 2nd floor of our 2 story cabin with stunning views of the Spit and Kachemak Bay. The Otters Den has over 800 sq. feet with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath complete with gas grill, gas fire pit, patio table and chairs. Shared laundry facility and wood fire pit.

Summary: My family (which includes two dogs) loved staying here. The unit was clean and inviting, and we had everything we needed to get settled in. A nice bonus that isn't pictured is that they have a Keurig for coffee. They also have a new partially covered deck that is for the upstairs unit, and the deck in the picture is for the downstairs unit. Some previous reviews mention the stairs being steep. From what I could tell, they fixed that issue with the addition of the new deck and staircase. It was no steeper than a standard staircase. The yard was expansive, and our dogs loved playing in it. The hosts were very friendly, responsive, and welcoming. I absolutely recommend this unit for a family getaway in Homer.
